FACULTY OF HOSPITALITY INTRODUCTION GEOMATIKA School of Hospitality was established in 2002 with the intention to promote skillful workers in hospitality field and personal services. Nowadays, the hospitality field is keep on growing and GEOMATIKA believes there will be a lot of job opportunities await for the students. As for the growth of beauty industry and SPA which are rising up until 2010 with RM 80 billion budget, this is an opportunity not to be missed for every student who is interested in this arena. GEOMATIKA is concern by the fact and as a result, INDASARI WELLNESS (www.indasari.com.my) has been established. INDASARI \WELLNESS is a company under GEOMATIKA which trained students to move forward in commercialization services and also to expand students’ knowledge in beauty products and health. Besides, as for GEOMATIKA distinctiveness, the entrepreneurship concept has been applied so that students will have higher self competent and creativity to face the real business working environment. Apart from gaining academic experience, this will provide the industrial insight for students as well as for the academic staff. Some of the collaborators are: i.UNIVERSITAS NASIONAL JAKARTA (UNJ) - http://www.unj.ac.id/ It is one of the well known university that offer Degree in Beauty. GEOMATIKA has collaborated with UNJ in terms of contribution of experienced and skillful worker of UNJ. ii. UNIVERSITY COLLEGE BIRMINGHAM (UCB) Diploma Beauty holders can further their studies at University College Birmingham in 1.5 years on 2 years time. The program offers in UCB is BA in Salon Management (Beauty Therapist). iii.PERSATUAN KECANTIKAN DAN SPA BUMIPUTERA This Society is a group of Bumiputera’s entrepreneur in beauty industry all over Malaysia. GEOMATIKA is always being cooperative as to obtain feedback towards current industrial needs and the information will be implemented into the co curriculum program.
